Younis to lead Dollar East in KG tourney

KARACHI: Former Pakistan captain Younis Khan will lead Dollar East against last year’s runners-up Omar Cricket Club in the opening match of the 26th Karachi Gymkhana Ramazan Festival Cricket Tournament 2011 for the Bahria Town Trophy here at the Karachi Gymkhana Cricket Ground. The tournament, offering a prize money in the excess of Rs 800,000, is being contested by 16 teams, who have been equally divided into four groups. Karachi Electric Supply Corporation (KESC) are the defending champions. The Younis-led Dollar East also have Ijaz Ahmed, Shabbir Ahmed, Shahzeb Hasan, Nomanullah, Hasan Raza, Haris Ayaz and Azam Hussain in their squad.
